Márcio Ivanildo da Silva, better known as Marcinho (born on 25 March 1981 in Petrolândia), is a Brazilian footballer, who currently plays for APOEL in the Cypriot First Division. He is known for his quality through passes.
Career
Marcinho previously played for CS Marítimo, São Caetano and Santos FC.[1] On 30 January 2010 the former midfielder of Maritimo Funchal, has signed a deal with APOEL Nicosia. He transferred to Cyprus, despite the interest of French teams as Le Mans and Grenoble. Marcinho did not have a good start in first year, but the next season made a great impact and proved that he is a very good and important player for APOEL.[2] At APOEL, Marcinho won his first championship title in his career, by helping his team to win the 2010–11 Cypriot First Division.
